Kindness

Kindness is underrated, if you ask me.  I sort of feel like kindness is equated with weakness these days.  We are so focused on getting ahead, standing up for ourselves and fighting for what we want, that we forget how we are treating others.

A kindhearted woman gains respect,
   but ruthless men gain only wealth.
A kind man benefits himself,
   but a cruel man brings trouble on himself. vs. 16-17

One man gives freely, yet gains even more;
   another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. v. 24

In reality, I think showing kindness takes more strength than the fighting and struggling we are doing to get where we think we want to be.

Just something to think about! :-)
